The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)
has activated the online application portal for RRB Section Controller
Recruitment 2026 (CEN 03/2026). Eligible candidates holding a Bachelor’s
degree can now submit their application form online through the official portal
at rrbapply.gov.in.
This recruitment drive aims to fill 119
vacancies for the Section Controller post in Pay Level-6 across various
Zonal Railways.

Overview & Job Profile Summary
Pay Scale: Level-6 under 7th CPC (Initial Basic
Pay of ₹35,400/month plus applicable allowances).
Role: Section Controllers manage daily train movements,
coordinate traffic schedules, and maintain operational safety across railway
divisions.

must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a
recognized University or Institution.
- Note: Candidates awaiting final
year/semester results are not eligible to apply. Qualifications

Selection Process
The recruitment process involves four
distinct stages:
- Computer-Based
Test (CBT):
Carries 70% weightage in the final merit evaluation.
- Computer-Based
Aptitude Test (CBAT):
Carries 30% weightage in the final merit evaluation.
- Document
Verification (DV):
Verification of educational and category certificates.
- Medical
Examination:
Comprehensive A-2 medical test conducted by Railway Medical Authorities.
Step-by-Step Guide: How to Apply Online at rrbapply.gov.in
1.Create an Account (One-Time
Registration): rrbapply.gov.in.
Visit the official single-window
application portal at rrbapply.gov.in. Click on Apply > Create
an Account. Enter your active Mobile Number and Email ID to generate your
primary credentials via OTP verification.
2.Fill Candidate & Zone Details:Personal & Academic Data.
Log in using your newly created
credentials. Select your desired Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Zone
and fill in personal details, educational qualifications, address, and category
details.
3.Upload Required Documents &
Photograph:Strict
Guidelines.
Capture/upload a live photo through
webcam or mobile camera along with a clean digital signature in the prescribed
format. Upload SC/ST category certificates if seeking a free travel pass.
4.Pay Application Fee & Final
Submit:Online Mode.
Pay the required application fee via
UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. Review your application summary
carefully before submitting. Download and print the confirmation page for
future reference.
Tip for Applicants: Avoid waiting until the last date
(August 14, 2026) to complete your application to avoid server delays or portal
